Our Story

D’third Ink Tattoo Studio was founded by Dado and Joyzee in 2013. It all began with the influence of their peers at a Fine Arts University during college. They started tattooing friends at home until it evolved into their full-time profession, catering to clients in their house. In 2016, they decided to establish a small tattoo studio in a Pasay City condominium. Over time, they built a clientele that prompted them to relocate to a larger commercial space in Makati. With a growing number of clients, they expanded their tattoo shop business by hiring additional staff and artists to accommodate more customers.

D’third Ink derived its name from Dado's suffix III. The logo, crafted by Joyzee through a transition from a freehand sketch to a digital vector, has been in use since 2014. The design is inspired by client feedback regarding Dado's light-handed tattooing technique, applying gentle pressure to minimize the pain during the tattooing process. The feather-like elements in the logo symbolize the light touch of Dado's hand on the client's skin. Additionally, the curls in the logo showcase Dado's authentic talent in traditional drawing, exemplified by his ability to draw almost perfect circles freehand.

In 2019, D’third Ink introduced its piercing services, establishing a reputation for creating safe and high-quality body art. The studio offers a diverse range of tattoo sizes, spanning from minimalist designs to full-body suits, and embraces various styles such as minimalist, realism, portrait, colored, black & grey, Oriental, Japanese, Tribal, new school, traditional, and beyond. D’third ink's artists, extensively trained by founders Dado and Joyzee, possess the expertise to bring any client's imaginative ideas to life. Since 2016, Dado and Joyzee have actively participated in Tattoo Conventions and seminars, both locally and internationally, including travels to the USA and Asian countries, where they compete and continually enhance their knowledge of the art and science of tattooing.
